Welcome to the next edition of “Blugibbon Bites”, a series chatting with some of our regular locum Doctors, delving beyond the clinical facade and showcasing the human behind the stethoscope.
Interestingly he met Blugibbon for the first time while at SMACC DUB 2016 (Social Media and Critical Care Conference) while working in Ireland!
His locum jobs through Blugibbon have included stints in parts of the Pilbara and Great Southern Regions of Western Australia as well as regional parts of Western New South Wales and Northern Victoria.
Brenton’s most memorable medical experience to date, apart from locumming, has been working in expedition medicine, particularly on Mount Everest in Nepal and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
Working alongside the local Nepali Doctors, he has seen some incredible sights and interesting presentations.
With a personal ethos of constant exploration, Blugibbon are proud as punch to have such a long-standing relationship with a Doctor that mirrors our own sense of adventure.
Brenton is currently setting up a new service – Mountain Medicine Australia – take a look.
If you would like to discuss locum Doctor jobs and have an adventurous spirit, then you have come to the right place. Get in touch with Blugibbon today. (02) 8960 6445
