General Physician – Staff Specialist – Permanent
Join a well-established General Medicine team in regional New South Wales. This permanent, full-time opportunity combines acute general medicine with scope to contribute expertise in a supported subspecialty.

The opportunity
This position is divided equally between General Medicine and a subspecialty service. The subspecialty component may be in Geriatric Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology or Gastroenterology, depending on your expertise and service requirements.
You will work alongside clinical and non-clinical colleagues in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment serving a regional community.
What you’ll be doing
• Providing inpatient care across the general medical wards
• Supporting patients admitted through the Emergency Department
• Providing General Medicine input for patients in intensive care and high-dependency settings
• Contributing specialist expertise within an available subspecialty
• Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
• Advocating for patients and supporting improved health outcomes across the regional • community
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams
What you’ll bring
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
• Current specialist registration with AHPRA
• Experience delivering high-quality General Medicine services
• Relevant expertise in Geriatrics, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology or Gastroenterology
• A collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care
• A strong commitment to patient advocacy and the needs of rural and regional communities
• Compliance with the applicable occupational screening and vaccination requirements
