About the Role
Blugibbon is recruiting a General Practitioner for a practice in Swan Hill, Victoria.
This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centred care in line with RACGP Standards for General Practices. The successful GP will assess, diagnose and treat patients, order and follow up diagnostic tests, maintain accurate clinical records and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
The role also includes participation in Medicare frameworks such as GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements, supporting coordinated care for patients with ongoing health needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality general practice care to patients
• Perform clinical assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning
• Order and follow up diagnostic tests
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Best Practice software
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Support community health initiatives where required
• Participate in GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement
• Follow infection control, privacy and confidentiality requirements
• Help maintain a safe environment for patients, children and staff
