The Opportunity
Caboolture Hospital is recruiting senior ED Registrars to join its Emergency Department in Queensland.
This role is suitable for PGY5+ doctors with at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience who are looking to move to Australia and build their career in a supported public hospital setting.
You will work across a mix of day and evening shifts, supervise junior doctors in the Emergency Department, and manage a broad range of emergency presentations.
The department is accredited for ED training and offers a strong pathway for doctors looking to progress towards specialist Emergency Medicine training in Australia.
Rota and Support
You will work a standard 38-hour week.
Australian rostering rules are designed to ensure safe working hours and appropriate breaks between shifts. If you work additional hours, these are paid at enhanced rates, often 150% or 200% of your base pay.
You will have senior support available, including FACEM / Consultant support on call when required.
Pay and Benefits
• Salary: $130,000–$180,000 per year
• Relocation allowance: 20% on top of annual salary

Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you must:
• Have a primary medical degree from the UK, Ireland, US or Canada
• Hold full medical registration in the country where you received your primary medical degree
• Be PGY5+
• Have at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Be able to commit to a 12-month role
