Rota & Support
The rota is structured around:
• 10 night shifts per month
• No on call commitments
• Large amounts of protected time off between shifts
• You must be comfortable working nights, but when you are off, you are fully off.

• A smaller department environment with strong collegial support
• Extra shifts available if you wish to increase earnings!
Pay & Benefits
• Salary A$1,700 per shift
• Approximate annual earnings: A$204,000
• Equivalent to approximately £102,000 per year at current exchange rates

Start Date
The hospital is ideally looking for a doctor to start in mid-2026, although there is flexibility for the right candidate.
A 12-month commitment is preferred.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this Australia doctor job, you must:
• Hold full GMC registration with licence to practise
• Currently be working at F4+ level or equivalent
• Have significant Emergency Medicine / A&E experience following Foundation training
• Experience can include locum work, Trust Grade posts or fellowships
• If you graduated from a non-UK medical school, you must:
• Have completed PLAB
• Have worked in the UK for at least 12 months
