Gosford Hospital is only 35min far from Wyong Hospital. Gosford is a public hospital with 484 beds (pretty big), Wyong is a bit smaller 300 beds.

WHAT DOES THE TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION LOOK LIKE FOR A LOCUM DOCTOR IN GOSFORD & WYONG?

ANY LOCAL’S INSIDE INFORMATION TO SHARE?
The ocean pool at the Entrance was fabulous. Also the restaurant at the surf club there .Central coast is a beautiful region. Really easy to access from Sydney or Newcastle. There is so many things to do around: surfing, diving, golf, walking, the list is long. Terrigal, Avoca or Copacabana are really cute cities to visit, have a drink or do your shopping.
Try the really cute Bamboo Buddha Cafe during the weekend, or go and visit. There is even good winery to visit: Firescreek .

WOULD YOU GO BACK TO GOSFORD & WYONG AS A LOCUM DOCTOR?
Yes! I have long-term work commitments now but would recommend it to anyone looking for an ED role in the area.
