WHAT IS THE TEAM LIKE?
It is a small department, in Moruya Hospital NSW, with a busy emergency load. Most of the time you are alone with some FACEMs cover with some overlapping shifts but otherwise, it is solo ED.TELL US ABOUT THE SETUP OF THE HOSPITAL AND SUPPORT?
There are no other specialty services as the main referral centers are Bega and Canberra.
WHAT DOES THE TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION LOOK LIKE FOR A LOCUM DOCTOR IN MORUYA?
Rex Airlines operations flights from Sydney to Moruya and if you get the direct flight it is 50 minutes. Sometimes it is via Merimbula and that can be 90 minutes, or you can fly to Canberra and then drive which will take less than two hours.
