The staff were awesome and very welcoming. IGA sells the best pre-prepared food and if you are looking to eat out, head to the impressive Newman Hotel.

How was the travel, logistics and accommodation?

There are flights to Newman from Perth daily and you are able to fly-in on the day of the first shift and out on the day of the last (usually).
Hospital staff even collect you from the airport, however, be mindful Qantas are under strain at the moment so your experience may not always be great.

It is a new hospital with a well designed ED. there is no on-site specialist support, but specialists in the referral hospital are generally friendly.
